Hello, my name is Ayanna Raeburn. I was born in the beautiful Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. I moved to California on my sixteenth birthday and have officially adopted it as my second home. As a sophomore here at Lincoln, I am currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Biology. I am a very dedicated student, as I understand the importance of a good education in today’s society. In the future, I plan on becoming a physician in an attempt to contribute to the prosperity of the less fortunate and needy individuals worldwide. I understand that all my goals in life may not be satisfied, however, I believe that the real failure is not trying at all. I pride myself as a frank, loyal, trustworthy, and respectable young woman. I am far from perfect but that is all a part of my life’s journey.
