I am at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania where I’m looking forward to do great things.  Since studying at Lincoln University, I have been very determined to make the most of the opportunities that are available, despite my rigorous curriculum and trying to maintain a high G.P.A I engage myself in as many extra – curricular activities as possible. I have been a member of the Chemistry Club where I have been to conferences at the University of Pennsylvania. I have been an active member of the Biology Club where I served as a member on the Faculty Appreciation day Committee and now I  serve as the Queen for the academic  year 2011 – 2012. I also became a Certified CPR in October 2010 in association with the Pre- medical club. I have an overwhelming passion for imparting knowledge to others, therefore I took it as a pleasure to become a part of Lincoln University supplemental Instruction Leaders where I work closely with a specific professor and tutor Calculus 1.I also participated in numerous voluntary services which include working as a volunteer in the Martin Luther King Day of Service at the South Philadelphia High school and at G.A.I.N (Global Aid Network) just to name a few. This past summer (for the year 2011) I did a two month internship at the University of Pennsylvania School of medicine, it was indeed a rewarding experience.

My philosophy in life is obstacles are what you see when you have taken your eyes off the goal, successful people do not have fewer problems they have decided that absolutely nothing can stop them from going forward. With God’s help and my determination I hope to pursue a career in the field of science in the near future.
